Reluctantly, I’ve come to accept tipping as a part of customer service, and I accept tipping when it comes to services such as waiting on tables, hair stylist, bellhop, etc. These people really work hard at pleasing customers. However what’s really irking me lately is the appearance of people expecting tips for non-traditional tipping services. I see tipping jars at Dunkin donut shops, serve-yourself buffet restaurants and other places where the people basically just take your money and not much else. The tipping situation is really getting out-of-hand!
