Being from Hawaii, it is a commonly known fact that Utah has a sizable population of Pacific Islanders (especially Samoans and Tongans) because the Mormons have a large degree of success with those groups. If you check the websites for the BYU and Utah football teams, you’ll find that about 1/3 of the football players are of Polynesian descent. Being from Hawaii, I am more familiar with Polynesian last names so I’ll know which of those players are Polynesian

Isn’t ironic that blacks complain about white flight back in the 1950’s, yet now when Latinos are moving into the inner cities, it’s the blacks that are doing the fleeing?

I love being of mixed-race. In Hawaii, it doesn’t matter as much as it does in parts of the mainland U.S. I am part Mexican, Puerto Rican, German, and Portuguese. I do feel more closer to the Latino side since my parents emphasized it more. Plus, in Hawaii, NEARLY EVERYONE who is part-white, part non-white emphasizes their non-white side. Example, a part white/Hawaiian person will emphasize their Native Hawaiian side, even if his skin is light. It even gets to the point where one girl who looks 100% white claims to be Filipino. I can’t find any signs of Filipino in her. White people get picked on in Hawaii, so that’s probably why those are have white/non-white in them emphasize the non-white side.

Rappers who talk about serious issues, and a mean face will give them that image. That image shows they aint joking around and you best not start sh** with them. Other rappers, like Ludacris, are humor rappers, so they’ll smile to give them that humorous image

I’m not black, but I am from a ghetto. To people in the ghetto, loudness isn’t something looked down upon, it’s considered normal behavior. It definitely aint as bad as doing something violent, so we think nothing of it. As for having multiple families in one home, that’s considered NORMAL EVERYWHERE EXCEPT among WHITE AMERICANS! It’s called family unity, helping your relatives, etc. In Hawaii, where I’m from, having more than one family in a household is NORMAL! It’s due to the large number of Asians and Pacific Islanders here who think that’s the way it should be. They view the white American standard of only one family to a home as ‘cold-hearted’ and showing a lack of family unity.

It’s rare that someone will take your gun out of your hand. It happens more to police officers, because they have to get in close contact with suspects in order to arrest them. For civilian using a gun for defense, the civilian aint gonna arrest the criminal so it’s less likely for the civilian’s gun to be taken away by the criminal
