Seamus from Charlestown, MA, Obviously you speak from your ‘lower class’ experience. How do you know white people used to sit back in the shade sipping lemonade while the slave worked? I wasn’t there so I don’t know-either! I have been driving for 15 years and I’ve seen people of all races do this. It’s not a race issue. If it was, all whites would do this. I don’t, and I’m white. My parents emigrated to the U.S. in the 1960s. They’re white anf they don’t. Dude, think before you speak.
