I do not find that the response to your question is really one about ‘people of color.’ In general, unless we are talking about a tanning situation, a darker person, let’s say someone from Greek heritage, has more melanin in the skin than a lighter person, say a Scandinavian. Recent studies, and correct me if I am wrong, have shown that melanin has benefits such as reducing the risk of skin cancer and providing for better sleep. Therefore, in a survival of the fittest aspect, having more melanin is an advantage, and probably will be partially inherited according to genetic probabilities. This does not mean that the resulting child is no longer white. ‘White’ people are never really white but come in different colors, and so do non-white people. Therefore, I believe the term ‘white’ is outdated, because we are all mixes and shades of something or another, whether we trace it back to the time of slavery, to the time when the Bering Strait could be walked across, or to some cell squiggling about in a swamp billions of years ago. Scientifically speaking, ‘whites,’ simply a title given by society, are not a separate ‘species’ and cannot be considered extinct without the extinction of homo sapiens as a whole. If we mean white, as let us say someone from Irish and Lithuanian descent, and we mix this ‘white’ person with, let’s say, someone from Kenyan descent, i.e. a ‘black’ person, the child born thereof shall still be Irish and Lithuanian, and shall also still be Kenyan. How pale would this person have to be to be labeled ‘white’ or ‘of color’ is a question left to the whimsies of whatever society is present at the time.

I used to think I was unusual but other men share my opinion. I do not like large breasts. Period! They get in the way during intimate moments. I cannot give a large breasted woman a heart-felt hug without realizing that there are two obstructions between our hearts. Even nastier are large breasts that have lost all shape and have turned into pancakes that develop sweat havens beneath them and have to be adjusted all the time. Beyond all this, fake breasts take the cake. Fake breasts are a major turn-off, not only in their often obvious artificial demeanor, but also in that, with fake breasts, it feels like the woman is never actually naked… she is permanently wearing two ornamental balloons inside her body. Small and natural is the way to go!

In my opinion, there are two reasons: 1) People are brainwashed to do so, and 2) People are scared of the things they do not take the time to understand. I think religion gives people something to believe in and some form of hope, and no one should, especially in the name of their religion, put down another religion, or the right of another to believe in whatever they need to believe in to feel fulfilled.

I have been both a 22-year-old making more than $50,000 a year, as well as a broke, in debt, 24-year-old unable to afford a car or rent, eating 50-cent blackbeans from a can. Without the emotional fulfillment from family, friends and loved ones, some thought would reveal that life as a whole is pretty depressing. We are all born, we all get sick, we all die, we have to follow stupid routines everyday, whatever they might be, etc. Yet, here’s the kicker: Money is interesting in that, with money, you can afford to pretend that life does not suck. With money, you can distract yourself from the daily drone of life and from the hauntings of reality that might dance in your head. You can create variety to mask the problems. Money provides blinders, and in this world, that can be fabulous. Money is freedom, and, in effect, I am happier more of the time with it than without it.

Yes, it is a double standard. Side note: did you lose the tomatoes or the cucumber? Or did you just toss out the whole salad? Hey, this is the kind of crap we have to put up with. Men are just clowns and we are left with no choice but to laugh at our own dismembered friends. Imagine if John Wayne Bobbit was a woman who had had an injury of equal magnitude to her sexual organs. I don’t hear any women laughing now. But if we are supposed to laugh at injuries to our little buddies, I think that women should laugh at their mammary mishaps. I am sick of the double standard as well! Perhaps somethings should remain private and free of mockery regardless of gender.
