LilyMemberThe debate is still going on. Some studies show a biological/genetic basis for homosexuality, while many social scientists believe that environment (in early childhood) plays a part. There have been no clear-cut conclusions drawn as of yet. However, almost all scientists agree that homosexuality is NOT a chosen lifestyle. Most homosexuals know from a young age that they are attracted to the same gender. They are not in control of these feelings, just as heterosexuals cannot control the fact that they are attracted to the opposite sex.
