I broke my leg several years ago, wore a cast from my upper thigh to my ankle. It was a bother for me to stretch my undies over it, so I stopped wearing them (the undies, that is). When the cast came off, the undies continued to stay off. It’s not something I broadcast or often discuss with people. I don’t think you’re a whore. It’s a matter of convenience for me. Never thought of it as a deterrent to yeast infections. I don’t think it would have any effect on that. I say, keep it your own business.

In middle school, in New York City, I had an English teacher by the name of Mr. Moskowitz. I vaguely remember somebody mentioning ‘gay’ and his name in the same sentence – probably at a parent-teacher meeting. I did not know what gay meant then. I do remember having a difficult time with some English matter and him taking the time to help me out after school. He was a good teacher and his sexuality wasn’t an issue (although in retrospect, I think he might have been a bit of a ‘nellie’). I think the most important thing is that you’re a good teacher…Sexual orientation of a teacher, in the school setting, specifically in the classroom, should not be a subject open to discussion. My straight teachers never talked about their sexuality.
