LashMemberA person’s entire body surface continuously sheds dead skin cells. The shedding of dead skin cells from the scalp at an excessive rate is the result of the normal growing process of the skin cells of the scalp. Causes of dandruff include the following: Excessive use of hairsprays and gels, improper use of hair-coloring products, cold weather and dry indoor heating, tight fitting hats and scarves, infrequent shampooing of the hair or inadequate rinsing, stress, anxiety and tension. Dandruff is a ‘human’ phenomenom not a ‘racial’ one. Although some are more prone to its causes than others, people of all races suffer from it. Black people laugh at your question, because it is one made out of ignorance. A simple Google search provided all of the above information. Notice that none of the causes relate to race. I think your real question to yourself should be what views do you hold about black people that would make you think they’re so different from yourself that they wouldn’t be affected by dandruff?
