Whoever responded before me made a good point about power. Don’t give up the power. My high school history teacher failed me because I wouldn’t fuck her (fat bitch!). While I could have done all my homework, if I would’ve ‘did it’, I would’ve graduated with my class. As far as the older women/younger man thing, there are a lot of factors. One may be your maturity, its considered very attractive to be mature. Also, many women get self consious around that time and it seems that the attention does wonders for their self-esteem. My advice, if you are attracted to her, go for it. But remember, if its a teacher be careful, you don’t want to lose that ‘power’. By holding out, YOU have control, you feel me. Its also very unfortunate you have such a limited perspective of black men as well. In response to your first comment about the scent of Black men (on the bus). Think about where you were ‘many times’ and think about the socioeconomic conditions of those Individuals. One thing I notice about my friends is that they shower EVERY time they leave the house. We could just be going to the park and a shower is still necessary. As far as black men only caring whats between their legs, some would argue thats the point of ‘life’. To continue life, which happens to be an electrical current running through our legs. However, I refuse to believe that thats all we think about. I guess if you watch BET and see those modern day minstrel shows, I mean corporate sponsored cultural artifacts known as music videos, you’d think that all that ran through our minds was money hoes and clothes. Fortunately, there are many brothers out there, who are getting ‘their’ college education who have things on their minds, such as the ‘War on Drugs’, the deterioration of the black family, the prison industrial complex, and other relevant things to the struggle of Black people in this country. As far as your comments about non-blacks performing cunnilingus, if you were bombarded with images 24/7 of your people being seen as ‘niggas and bitches’ and other people being shown as clean, heavenly, whatever nonsense they show on your local TV station, than you’d have a lack of self respect as well. As far as black woman getting better jobs, that better serves the public’s view of black men and it also helped (during integration and black rights, civil rights, women’s rights movement) to destabilize the black family, by disrupting the hierarchy. However, one reason people suggest is ‘white guilt’ on apart of the white women, and ‘payback’ by black men. Now, I think these are horrible reasons to mate with someone, they are possible. Another reason, as far as fantasies are concerned, I think when we date outside the race, it has to do with stereotypes. ‘I heard white girls give head’, ‘Black men have huge dicks’ etc. However, I also think the Black man/white woman thing has financial motives as well. My mother is a Creole woman, and although I like light skin women also, I love my brown skin sistas. Ironically, my best friend, whose mother is a beautiful milk chocolate brown (i shouldn’t describe his moms like that, lol), doesn’t like ‘dark’ women. One thing about him is that he used to watch a lot of those prime time soaps (i.e. Melrose Place, 90210, etc) where white women are seen as the supreme object of beauty. Personally, I don’t really care for them, however, some are attractive. However, I base my standards of beauty on my own standards, not based on PBS or Ms. Universe.
