Kabbalah is certainly not related to anything commercial. The Torah itself is the transcription of the five 'books of Moses.' Great care has been taken down through the ages that today's Torah scroll is exactly like the original. Study and interpretation of the Torah has been continuing through the ages. This is sensible and logical. However, there is a mystic and superstitious side of Judaism. These writings are the Kabbalah. It is not part of historic mainstream Judaism. If an insurance salesman quotes Kabbalah, sit him down and take his temperature.

I suspect this is a worf game, but that's all I know. Insultingly, 'Chinese' was/is used to describe disorder. The term I know is 'Chinese fire drill.' This signifies bunch of people running all about in great confusion. Chinse auction might be in this category: A wild disorganized activity, maybe even an auction. When and who? I have no idea. But it is at least 50 years old. L Freeman

This is a low-skill occupation. It featured high turnover. The main requirement is the ability to follow highly specific inetructions and a script. In these days of diversity and equal opportunity hiring, diversity on the telephone should not surprise you. Being upset with this is natural. But everyone deserves to work. Can you and I undertand them? Be assured, they are monitored and replaced if there are 'problems.' Many business phone calls and office routines start with a question of desired language, English or Spanish. Bilingal signs and publications are very common. An instruction leaflet with an appliance we bought recently was printed in six or seven languages. This is a very big World. In tht city of Chicago, 'minority' has taken on a new meaning. Hispanics outnumber Blacks. And will soon outnumber Whites. Interesting times are coming.
