The female circumcision in not only a removal of the clitoris it is also the scraping of the vaginal walls and the sewing up of a womans labia to ensure that she stay a virgin for her husband. This is generally a practice not as much related to a religion as it is to specific cultures. They do this because they feel that women who enjoy sex will stray from their husbands. Some also believe that if they do not remove the clitoris it will grow to be a penis. They scrape a womans vaginal walls to cause more friction for a man when penetration occurs. All of this is done to try to keep women subserviant and is usually done to girls who are about 3 years old.

Just because you are black does not mean you are African you could be; Haitian, Dominican, Cuban, Puerto Rican, many different things. But if they want to be refered to as African American they have a right to be with out being told to go back to Africa.

They feel this way because most of them have never had any racial slurs or incidences happen to them. They do not understand what a slap in the face something like this is. They do not understand that it is degrading and it makes fun of a specific race
