I've heard some people call it 'the gay show for straight people'. It does stereotype gay men, but it's also funny. At least Will, as Jack's foil, is gay himself. In response to the other response which says that the actor who plays Jack is gay - I'm pretty sure I've heard him give 'No comment' type answers about his sexuality, and even heard that he is straight. I don't know.
