JohnnyMParticipantEvery time I’ve seen someone wearing pjs in public, it was always a white female (usually teen/tweenish). As far as slippers, that seems to be popular among white males.

JohnnyMParticipantI heard that in most Asian cultures, standing or walking a respectable distance from a person (what we call personal space) is actually rude and impolite. So as a result, it’s considered common courtesy to position yourself close to others. Completely the opposite in the US, where of course, it’s rude to be all up in a person’s face!
