Many of my peers do not understand why I enjoy the music, movies, etc. that my parents enjoy. Those my age find me strange, and a few adults are under the impression I am attempting to give the impression of maturity. The majority of adults, however, have no qualms about my tastes, and many commend it. I feel that having a common link with other generations provides an excellent way to maintain communication.
