Maybe I’m just getting old, but it’s possible to be pretty turned on without getting much of anything besides vague stirrings in that area. If it progresses beyond just a vague feeling of horniness, then there’s usually some sort of reaction, but mine has seen so little use in the last two years it’s like waking an old dog that’s sleeping by the fire – it takes a lot to get him to do more than raise his head, look around, and realize there’s nothing important going on.

It’s a bit of an ego boost, for one. To know that someone’s reactions, and they can be quite dramatic at times, are solely due to what you are doing is definitely an ego boost. There’s a lot of intimacy involved, as well. It involves a lot of your senses at once, not to mention anticipation, which is a highly underrated thing indeed. Mostly, though, I think it’s the intimacy…it is a step up in intimacy from any other act, at least to me, the same degree that seeing someone naked is from being fully clothed. Also, bear in mind not everyone does like it, many guys I know bitch about it…losers. 🙂

Hell, I fit more stereotypes than half the gay men I know, and provide a lot of confusion, but apart from a moment or two of honest introspection about my place on the Kinsey Scale, I’m straight. I know about exfoliation, too. I make my own soap, I know how to do interior decorating, have chenille throws all over my house, like Madonna, etc. It happens. He could be, but it happens. Can’t say I shave, though…makes you itch too much when it grows back.
