I don’t know what your experiences have been nor what the laws in Quebec are in regard to smoking. I try very hard not to blow smoke in people’s faces, but if I’m outside and someone sits/stands next to me when there are other places farther away from me available and I’m already smoking, I don’t see why I should be the one to move. I do agree it would be rude to smoke if there was no other place for the person to go, or to light up after someone stood near me.
