To me it means they are surrendering their individuality to the herd. Read a book called No Logo by Naomi Klein. She talks about corporations desiring to ‘brand’ you – getting you to wear their brand as if you were a cow owned by the company. I want clothes that fit and that don’t turn me into a billboard. Also, I don’t want these transnational companies using cheap foreign labor to create huge profits for their shareholders. I want much of the price of clothes to go to the workers who made them.
