It is very common in Latin America to see an age difference such as this. When my aunt married my uncle, she was 14 and he was 26. They have been happily married for 25 years. She was 19 when she had her first child. Two years later, she gave birth to another child, and that was it. They were a very healthy and stable family. In Latin America, Hispanics figure the man should be prepared to support his family and the woman should be fertile and able to give a safe birth. Access to medical aid is very, very low there, so by the time the woman is in her 30s, it gets very dangerous to give birth.

Some people seem like they truly are trying to be black they talk ebonics and braid their hair and stuff yet they live in low african populated areas. Then there are the non-black people who choose only to associate with blacks. I like the hip-hop style but that doesnt mean I am going to change my way of talking, get a black boyfriend and put corn-rows in my hair. Those people puzzle me and I hate being sterotyped as a wantabe for the way I dress sometimes.

That is trouble waiting to happen. Messing around is not as bad but to include him into your family could create a icky atmosphere. Although your sister may have treated him bad in the past does not mean it she will always treat him that way, with three years they definitly have emotional ties. Ties that will need to be confronted, maybe even a few times. And if children are there in the future the mess will be forever.

We assume because a womans physcial stucture is made to mate with a male. I agree it would be frustrating for a homosexual person but we are just following the norm of science. To me it seems if we substitute boy/girlfriend for partner and parents for guardians the labels lose the feelings.

I have no problem with the thought of gays in the military. They just need to focus on their duties, and not all the meat around them. But the way some of the flaming gay males act I don’t know how great of a job they will do. I’d be pretty embarassed to see or hear of a flaming gay being captured and making us look like a joke.
