I agree. It sounds like a silly comment that some anti-Semites make – that we are not anti-Semitic because we like Arabs who are Semites. (I have heard speakers from the Nation of Islam and some anti-Israel speakers make this comment.) This is simply playing with words. “Anti-Semitism” is hatred of the Jews. The term anti-Semite should probably be replaced by a less confusing term.
