How can the Ku Klux Klan and other white supremacists claim to be anti-Semitic if they worship a Jewish man named Jesus? That seems like a contradiction. Could someone explain how these groups can dislike Jewish people and still claim to be Christians?

I agree. It sounds like a silly comment that some anti-Semites make - that we are not anti-Semitic because we like Arabs who are Semites. (I have heard speakers from the Nation of Islam and some anti-Israel speakers make this comment.) This is simply playing with words. "Anti-Semitism" is hatred of the Jews. The term anti-Semite should probably be replaced by a less confusing term.

A previous post said the KKK believe Jesus was not a Jew, but a white man, because he was descended through Isaac and not Esau. This is totally wrong; Jews trace their anscestry directly through Jacob and Isaac to Abraham. So by KKK doctrine they are admitting Jesus was a Jew? Esau, by the way, is considered (along with Ishmael and the 6 sons of Abraham and Keturah) to be the progenitors of the Arabs, not Jews, as the previous post implied.

Anyone can claim to be whatever they want. Does that make it so? There are tons of people in this world who are hypocrites; it shouldn't come as such a big suprise.
