Dave25995ParticipantI had always presumed it was a dominance/submissive thing (not the sexual kind, the personality kind). In relationships, a person (regardless of their gender) will tend to have either a dominant or a submissive personality. The dominant ones tend to be the leaders and protectors, the submissive ones tend to be the keepers of the emotions and feelings. For most of history, the vast majority of the population has had an almost 1:1 correlation of male with dominant and female with submission. But in this new world (where brute strength is not the only way of protecting one's mate) those links can be decoupled. A dominant can be dominant (and a submissive, submissive) independent of both their gender and their orientation.User Detail :
