How can you say that you aren’t privileged. You are white and that’s privilege enough. In this day and age, it may seem like everybody gets along compared to how things were in the past. Well, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but things are the same just in a different way. Because you are white you are privileged. And for everyone else, we have to struggle just to get recognized. Your skin color allows you to do whatever you want without much regard to what it is. People of color are constantly being watched just because of their skin color. Being white gives you many advantages that you take for granted. Like getting a great deal on a new car while minorities get jacked up interest rates making the payments ten times more than yours. White people are so blind to their privileged lives that its sickening. But I gurantee that if you lived as a minority one hour for one day you will know where we are coming from.
