I cherished my virginity, and I don’t see why that has to translate to waiting till marriage. I lost it when I ws 15, to someone I was madly in love with, and I was the one who asked him to sleep with me (he was a virgin too) We were together for a year and a half, and we still talk every now and again. My mother discussed sex with me a lot, and I feel like I made an informed choice, and I don’t regret it at all. I’ve only slept with two other people since, and I don’t really feel pressured by my peers. I think it’s absolutely disgusting when people are indiscriminately sexually active, and it’s also incredibly stupid and unhealthy. And my values are just fine, thank you.
