From what I know, it is a trend. Yes, mostly a black trend, but to lean over is the norm for a lot of young black men. When you are leaning, you are seen as 'laid-back' and 'relaxed.' It's just one of those things that a lot of young men do. Why do some white teens color their hair purple, or pierce their eyebrows? Same reason: to follow a trend.

Why are they bad drivers? I don't know. From what I observe, a lot of young people are bad drivers. Not enough experience, I imagine.

I know from living where I live that you are right: many black people are afraid of dogs. The reason is that most of the dogs they keep are often Rottweilers, Pitt Bulls or stray dogs. They have been taught from day one that dogs can be dangerous, because the ones they are around often are. In black neighborhoods, there are more stray dogs walking around, and most of the time they are mean because they are strays. It is something taught.

I am a white woman who has dated several black men, and I am now married to a black man. I am the most compatable person for him. He married me. Am I the most compatable person for all of the black men in the world? No.

White people's hair WILL lock up like black people's hair does. It just takes us longer to get it like that. NO, we can't take them out. If a white person is tired of their dreads, they have to cut their hair, just like a black person would have to. If a white person has stinky dreads, then they need to wash it. You have just ran into some funky-smelling people. My sister wears dreads and they are clean and kinda cute.

You can wear whatever hairstyle you want. I have never heard of a black person or 'rasta' being offended over the way you wear your hair. I have worn cornrows before, and I got tons of compliments from black and white people.
