My friend has a theory about this. (I’m a guy, but I still find this funny.) He thinks that men are inherently ugly. Just look at the penis, it’s no picture of beauty. Women, on the other hand, are inherently beautiful. Soft curves everywhere. Lesbians are the result of beauty joining beauty to produce a greater whole.

Personally, I like my girlfriend to keep her pubic hair short because it tickles my nose when I give her oral sex. Having less pubic hair to ‘push aside’ makes it funner for me. (Which makes it funner for both of us.) We don’t prefer shaving because of the roughness that can actually make certain sex positions painful, but trimmed is very nice.

As you pointed out, some people associate bleached blond hair with strippers and porn stars. While girls are probably not bleaching their hair because they want to be thought of as strippers, many of them think that association lends them a bit of sexiness – to be thought of as sexy without actually stripping, in a way.
