I’ve heard many times what you are referring to. I don’t want to sound like one of them, but I think it’s a class seperation thing. Those with money are raised to to think they are better than those without. ‘It’s called having standards, dear’ as my Grandmother says. Personally, I think that what you are born to is not your fault. It doesn’t seem right to make fun of a child in a family with no money…but what about their parents? Do they try to better themselves, like through education or furthering their skills or just saving their money to live in a better neighborhood? I see so many ‘poor’ people who scrap together enough money just to buy cigarettes, but they don’t bother to buy lysol and clean their house. I think they are the trashy ones.

I’ve told people ‘Merry Christmas’ in January a few times, too. Maybe it’s because I’m blonde. I started saying saying ‘Have a nice day’ because it seemed generic enough. But then I used that to end a phone conversation to someone on their way to funeral on a rainy day. What I’m saying is, it may be absentmindedness in more people than just me. Sometimes I call it stupidity, or having a ‘blonde moment’. I like ‘have a good one’, it’s pretty safe. I’s so hard these days to keep from offending everyone.

There’s a new season after each Sabbat, but not like Spring, Summer, or Autumn (those are seperate). They are seasons of what might be, things to happen. Like the time for a handfasting, the time for a naming ceremony, the time for a sacrifice.
