It’s like armpit hair, most of the world has more important things to worry about than a little extraneous female hair. North Americans are obsessed with it, probably because we’re quite inhibited and self-conscious about our bodies and their functions (compared to many Europeans for example). Also, yes, there’s a lot of money to be made selling hair-removal-related products. I think most men don’t really care about it much, though I get a little turned off if it’s as lush as mine… I’ve never heard anyone suggest it’s a ‘deal-breaker’ on an otherwise attractive woman though.
