Is it true that some Europeans think Americans are less than clean because we don't have bidets in common use here? Also, is a daily bath or shower as common in Europe as it is in the United States?

Never heard that one before. In the United Kingdom bidets are hardly in common use. I can't really remember too much about mainland Europe. I have only seen one or two in houses. They are more common in hotels I guess. Most people find a shower a lot easier I guess, and most people do shower every day.

I'm not European, or British. I'm a American Southern born and bred female. I can with out a doubt tell you Bidets are the best thing ever invented, especially for a female. You are definitely cleaner when using it. So the question is, 'we are not considered as clean for not using one' the answer is yes.
