my daughter and her fiance have a four week old son. Most local hospitals do not circumcise babies, unless there is a valid medical reason to do so. Both my daughter and her fiance have had presure from his mother to have our grandson ‘butchered’ as I call it, but there is only one doctor that does the operation locally, and he does it up until 3 weeks of age, and also does his best to convince the parents otherwise. My husband was circumcised as an infant, but we chose not to have our two sons, now 22 and 18 done.
