Would you like to talk about black racism? I am a white female who was one of a handful of whites who worked in a large work force, mostly black. My supervisor was a black female…. The black female considered herself a so-called ‘team leader’ and, on dress down day (Friday) insisted that EVERYONE on the team give up their non-paid meal break to attend a certain eatery for a so-called ‘team’ meal. I drily note that I was the ONLY white on the ‘team.’ All of this was ‘ok’– human relations, etc– until the black supervisor began to ask me very personal, very illegal questions about my personal life–that I would NEVER share with strangers! After I discovered that this individual was trying to coerce me into dating a certain black male, I went over the head of the individual– and also made it known to her that if she continued to touch me against my wishes and ask me personal questions which constitute sexual/racial harrassment–SHE WOULD BE HEARING FROM MY ATTORNEY…..! I don’t think I should have to say that I have a right to choose my own friends, etc and that I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO ACCEPT RACIAL HARRASSMENT FROM BLACK RACISTS!
