we do not believe in heaven and hell in a traditional sense. we look forward to returning to our Heavely Father and living with Him and Jesus Christ, and we belive all men and women have this opportunity. we believe that ‘hell’ is a punishment that the wicked do recieve for their sins, but that such punishment is limited and does not amount to eternity in a lake of ‘fire and brimstone’. we believe that through the atonement of Jesus Christ, if one is faithful and follows him, and tries his/her best to repent of their sins, that we will not suffer the torment of hell. this is a very concise answer to a more complex discussion.
