I don’t think much of it has to do with the noise. We like power tools because they enable us to do things that we might not have time to do by hand. I sometimes use hand tools and take longer just because i hate the noise the power tools make. I only used a leaf blower once and gave it away because i would rather rake and enjoy the quiet, but my yard is fairly small. Do people that use food processors use them because they enjoy the noise?
