In the bible it talks about the scattering of the 12 tribes of Isreal (Ephriam, Mannasah, Levi, etc.) When the tribes where scattered, the went to many different locations around the world. Eventually, my Jewish ancestors ended up in Poland. I guess that there are probably a few ‘pure’ Hebrews, but where I have no idea.

After the founder of the LDS church, Joseph Smith died, Brigham Young took over leadership of the church. A group of people in the church thought that leadership should be passed from father to son in the Smith family, and they broke off from the LDS church to start thier own. They started the RLDS church, and I suppose they dont want to be called mormons because that is the familiar nickname for LDS people.
