cellie-milParticipantmaybe some people call themselves ‘hip-hoppers’, but i’ve never heard of it. i listen to it sometimes, and grew up with it- there is no specific term for those who listen to it that is widely used, unlike so many other genres of music. as a side note, hip-hop artists are slowly losing thier impact and not coming up with many relevant things to say, so many people who may have been big fans at one time(such as myself) are turning to other forms of music to connect to.
