living in tennessee there are a lot of untrue stereotypes about the south that i have heard, and i think that that is one. i’m in high school and i know a lot of mixed kids and kids dating people of other races. there will always be racist people who have a problem with it, but you shouldn’t bother with them. also, some people wouldn’t personally date someone of another race because they think that the bible says it is wrong, but from what i have seen, even they aren’t hostlie or condescending towards people who do
