I’m African-American and I was denied financial aid and scholarships as well as my brother who was an straight A student because financially we didnt qualify, basiclly we weren’t poor enough for financial assistance and not rich enough to afford college on our own. So, like the majority of college students we worked our way thru college. I have found alot of things in this society is like that, for example i have noticed that the only kids that get into the best daycare programs are the families with lower income were they pay nothing or verly little while parents that make a decent income who are willing to pay whatever just to get there kid in decent daycare program is denied. Also its not fair to assume that the majority of us are low income either. Most of us are just as hardworking and striving for a better quality of like just like I’m sure you are.
