TysonMemberPsychiatrists often base their diagnoses on a book called the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual. The latest version of this book, DSM IV, requires that for a person to be diagnosed with pedophilia, he or she must be at least 16 and the subject must be prepubertal and at least five years younger. I.e., if you’re simply looking for a technical definition, you are not a pedophile. In a larger sense, I think you’re asking, ‘I’m attracted to a quality (smaller breasts) that seems prepubertal. Does that mean that I am attracted to sexual immaturity?’ The idea of arousal by sexual immaturity is the main point of the diagnosis of pedophilia.
My more subjective answer to the question I think you’re asking is ‘No.’ In the 21st century, most girls have entered puberty by the age you have mentioned, and are likely to have more sexual characteristics than merely breasts. Moreover, fixations on sexual characteristics vary wildly; attraction to small breasts is not abnormal or pathological in and of itself.
