Tish24626ParticipantI can tell you haven’t done very much animal research. The fact is that homosexuality is not a ‘human’ thing. Species as simple as tiny invertebrates all the way to chimpanzees display homosexual behavior. There are many scientists who make their living studying the genetics and endocrinology behind homosexuality in rats. They have shown that alterations in certain hormone concentrations can induce homosexual tendencies (i.e., males mounting males). I was just at a meeting where a graduate student had found evidence that a certain pesticide (methoprene)can cause homosexuality in copepods (insect-like creatures who live in the ocean). If you have access to a college library, I advise you to do some reading up on this subject.
