Could it be possible that your brother is suffering from what is often known as ‘Napoleon Syndrome’? Often times men of smaller stature (usally short men)tend to find other ways to compensate for their shorter height. It can manifest itself in so many ways. My husband (who at 5’6′ is considered short for a man) ‘suffers’ from this disorder. He is always trying to be ‘Mr. Toughguy’. Never wants anyone to think that he is a pushover because he is ‘short’. Your brother may literally NEED to express himself through his Speedos to redirect people’s focus from his height.
