‘To boldly go where no man has gone before,’ I suppose. Virginity represents newness and knowing there is no one else to be compared against. In addition, everyone remembers his or her first time and with whom, so there is a sense of being important in that person’s life history. There is also a sense of accomplishment knowing that you were chosen to be the girl’s ‘first.’ Some men also believe virgins have a tighter vaginal passageway and that the experience will be more pleasurable. However, all of this is greatly outweighed, in my opinion, by the emotional and physical difficulties of dealing with someone who is a virgin. Not that the opportunity presents itself much to me anymore (or ever), but I would, under no circumstances, ever want to have sex with a virgin again. I’ll take experience any day.
