Sarah K.MemberI was raised in an extremely fundamental christian family. When I became an adult and went to college, I began to realize that all the judgment and rigidity of my religion stemmed from a fear of anything or anyone that was different. As I became more informed, I realized that fundamentalism did not work in my life, and did not fit with my inner beliefs. Today I look at my family and feel sad because they are so limited by their fundamentalism. I feel very clear that I do not want that as a part of my life.
