I think it would be a very boring place. While academic achievement is admirable and very important it isn’t the only factor in determining a person’s worth or the contributions they would make. I have many very interesting friends who don’t have much formal education, but do a lot to enrich my life by sharing their other gifts and talents. I also have friends who have achieved higher levels of higher education than I. If I had to be separated from either group, I would consider it a great loss.
