I keep mine neatly trimmed, but my husband asked me to shave it one day. So, I did & it turns out he hated it. He said it made him feel like he was molesting a child. I didn’t like it either because, you’re right, it does get prickly VERY fast. And then when you decide to let it grow back out, you’re miserable. It gets stuck on your clothes & kindof hurts.
