Interesting. I’ve visited many countries on my buusiness visits. In some countries tip is included in the original price of the food so employer can pay higher wages to the employee. Plus employer keep an eye on the employee. If employee behaves bad with the custom he gets fired.

The goal of marketing/sales-person is to make you feel that you are not *same* as others and so you deserve “my product”, buy it! Using that strategy, they force you to buy two toys. One for son and other for the daughter.

That is the reason we do not see that many inter-racial couples. If a white girl is raised in the black family, then there is a higher chance that she will marry black person because she feels more comfortable with the black. There is nothing about racism here. There is lot to consider if you *really* want to stay with your life partner for the life. e.g. liking/culture/family/society/friends, etc. If a black person like black person or marries black person does not mean he is racist. When a black marries white, that does not mean black do not like its own kind. I do not expect white/black person go to other country and ask any man/woman to marry him/her. Because man/woman do not feel comfortable with strangers, and so they cannot commit their life with the strangers. Liking white skin or fair skin people is personal preference. It is a fact that majority humans like fair skin people. Media is live proof of it. Advertisement or movie world tries to pick “beautiful” and popular people. I do not see that many black models in media unless they are trying to use them to target certain audience.

Such things are not common in westarn countries but is quite common in asian countries. Similar thing I can think of in westarn world are friendship band, or colored wrist band that some people wear in USA.

So most of the people thinks that others do not cheat either. Second when polulation of con men/women increases possibility that others will get conned increases. On the other had if you have more friends and family around then possibility that you get conned decreases because chances of getting right advise increases. If a con men/women gets harshest punishment then I’m sure number of con people will decrease.

In this contract they decide how much money he should give to his wife in case they get divorce. (Something like prenuptual agreement). This is called ‘Maher’ amount. It could be anything from $1 to couple thousands, or millions if you own oil well? Also to get divorce all husband has to do is to say ‘Talak, Talak, Talak’ to his wife. That’s it. Even if he says by mistake the couple is considered as divorced. Isn’t this is an easy way to get divorce!!! I have heard of cases where husband had divorced his wife over the phone!!!
