    I can only speak for myself. I agree that life should be cherished and people shouldn’t be harmed. But, this cannot be a ‘global’ or universal truth in terms of the Commandment referred to. I read that Commandment as ‘Thou shalt not murder.’ The taking of another human life during war, or self-defense, etc., is not good, but I doubt it violates the intent of the Commandment. I hope that’s clear enough.
