Rob29701ParticipantMixcoatl- I often have asked the same question that you have asked. Maybe it is because the word 'America' is in our country's name. ( our country's full name is the United States of America.) Or maybe it's because Americans enjoy flaunting their ego a lot (ego: a persons self worth.) I think it is probably a combination of both. Maybe we should change our name to the United States of North America, so instead of my country's inhabitants unfairly refering to this country as just 'America,' we will be more aware of the world around us and say 'North America.'User Detail :
