I have lived my whole life in Sacramento, Calif. I have never been to the Carolinas. I have a son in the Marine Corps and he was stationed in North Carolina about five years ago. He was struck by two things in Carolina: 1) You can smoke any damn where you want! 2) White people are openly racist back there. They say anything they want, anytime they want, anyplace they want, to anybody they want. And they smoke while they do it. Now, to your question: do I think it’s a bad move for you to go to Carolina? You damn right, it’s a bad move to go there.
