I understand and appreciate your comments but what stills drives me crazy is the inequality of the situation. What I am referring to is the fact that some latinos will do things in their time but expect others to do it on the other time schedule that you refer to. I do not have a problem with the lationo time zone if it is applied equally to both sides.

Many men are not like the description you give. Those who are live under the old male rules and societal beliefs. While it is true that all men think about these subjects at some point in life, if they have good moral values they will not even fantasize about this. It is unfortunate that we still have many sections of society condoning and nurturing this type of thinking.

The matter of rape goes much deeper into an area that is out of my league, unfortunately. This happens to both men and women, by the way, but men are taught they are strong and should not allow this to affect their lives. Many men have a difficult time with relationships because of the complex differences in the lives of men and women. Rape is a way for some men to gain the illusion of control in their lives. I stress the word illusion because that is all it is.

I do not think there is one easy answer to this. I am of Anglo decent and am about eight inches taller than my father, yet he was born here in America, as was I. I believe the answer lies in the realm of evolution because I have noticed that all children to some degree seem to be getting taller than their parents. If there is another answer out there I would like to know it.
