I am a gay man, and I love women, not in a sexual way, but in a loving way, and nor have I ever met one (a homosexual) that has hated women! Maybe he was just having a bad day, or something in that order! Also I know that sometimes gay men get jealous of thier partners women friends, becuase sometimes they are closer to them then they are to thier partners. I dont think that it has anything to do with you!

I have also had that question,and where i am from, we use to symbolize, lesbians from gay men. Placing a sticker left to right (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) is for a gay man, and right to left (Purple, Blue, Green, yellow, Orange, Red) is for a lesbian, I may be wrong, but here it is noticed as a form of segregation. To be able to tell who is who!
