I believe one can make a pretty accurate guess of the race/ethnicity of another by voice alone. Often, ethnic groups have different dialects, expressions, accents, etc. I think it is relatively easy to figure out whether you are speaking to an African American, Asian American, Caucasion, East Indian, etc.
