Chad, I admit I sometimes have a go at Christians because it is a threat to me – as a non-heterosexually identifying person. That’s the motivation. It’s nothing personal.The people who make fun of you probably also see your religion as a threat to whatever they are doing. I think if you make an effort to be accepting and non-judgemental, yourself, (which you could be doing, I can’t say you’re not, I don’t know you), I think that will help.
